Public Consultation (3 Ordinances)

We invite the constituents of Itogon to join us for the PUBLIC HEARING at
Municipal Gym, Poblacion, Itogon
9:00 o’clock AM
August 22, 2024 | Thursday

The purpose of this public hearing is to discuss the following proposed ordinances:

1. An ordinance prohibiting the selling, manufacturing, or distribution of Philippine National Police (PNP) and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) uniforms, insignias, and other accouterments within the municipality of Itogon, and mandating all business establishments operating within the municipality to secure PNP and AFP certificate of conformity, and prescribing penalties on violation thereof;

2. An ordinance prohibiting the entry, sneaking, using, and carrying any forms of contraband inside BJMP-manned jail in the municipality, and providing penalties for violation thereof: and

3. An ordinance requiring all designated non-financial businesses and professions (DNFBPs) operating within the municipality of Itogon to acquire an Anti-money laundering (AML) certificate of registration from AML council prior to the issuance or renewal of their business permit or mayor’s permit in pursuant to RA 9160 of 2001, as amended.
