Today, July 7, 2025, during the regular Monday flag ceremony, the newly elected and re-elected officials of Itogon were prayed over by spiritual leaders, representing the Itogon Interdenominational Ministers Association (IIMA): Fr. Raul Gawek (Episcopal Church in the Philippines, Ucab), Ptr. Marcial Guinatang (Assemblies of God, Midas), and Ptr. Gilbert Beg-asan and Ptra. Judith Anecito (United Church of Christ in the Philippines, Ucab).![]()

Their presence offered a moment of pause, a space to reflect on the weight of public duty and the kind of leadership expected in the days ahead.![]()

After the ceremony, the spiritual leaders and the 12th SB Council convened for a discussion on the Moral Enhancement Recovery Program, a municipal ordinance that promotes accountability, ethical leadership, and integrity in local governance.![]()
